Nkumba University has been ranked 11,929th out of 1,443,090 universities globally, according to the 2024 World University Rankings.
The Entebbe-based higher institution of learning stands 14th in Uganda and occupies the 589th spot in Africa, boasting a modest team of 15 scientists.
Leading the charge at Nkumba University is Vice Chancellor Prof. Jude Lubega, who distinguishes himself with an impressive 32 publications and 1,222 citations. Prof. Francis Kasekende follows closely with 16 publications and 749 citations, while Prof. Faustina Orach-Meza contributes 5 publications and 133 citations to the university’s scholarly achievements.
Other notable scientists at Nkumba University, listed in descending order, include Ass. Prof. Norman Nsereko, Prof. Wilson Muyinda Mande, Prof. Andrew Peter’s Yiga, Erie Buseere Mugerwa, Aventis Bakunda, and Dr. Ann Abaho.

This comprehensive ranking sheds light on the academic prowess and global standing of universities, highlighting Nkumba University’s noteworthy achievements in the academic sphere.
