The initiative that has been bringing together students of journalism and mass media across the country has this year singled out 15 Universities to participate for training and auditioning.

Under the theme , ‘Public service delivery reporting’ this year’s Journalism students have been tipped on how to hold Gorvernment accountable to stake holders with a balance check on public service delivery.

According to Kambugu Benjamin, a first year Journalism students, the training has helped him identify his strengths, “before this training, I was not sure of my abilities, but after the Thursday and Friday training, I was exposed to ideas on how I can start practicing Journalism by using my phone,” said Kambugu.

One of the organizers, Antonio Kisembo said that this is an opportunity that all Journalism students should embrace. Kisembo believes that the future of Journalism is sealed with success, ” we envisage a world full of assertive and eloquent Journalists and with Media Challenge Initiative, the dream is eminent,”
