The buzz around Marvin’s new look was profound, and he clearly came prepared to reclaim the spotlight. In a deeply emotional moment, he paid tribute to the late student Sam, who passed away earlier in the week. “We remember Sam today, not just in silence but with purpose. His spirit lives on through our unity,” Marvin said, his voice trembling with sincerity. Just days earlier, he had shocked the student by cutting off his trademark dreadlocks, calling it a “hair sacrifice” to symbolize a fresh start in leadership.

He then unveiled his campaign vision to an energized crowd, promising a digital reawakening, revitalizing the university’s sports culture, and celebrating cultural identity. “We must organize a vibrant, unforgettable cultural gala to celebrate Nkumba’s rich diversity. We must see our culture not just as tradition, but as strength,” Marvin emphasized.

The crowd was electrified by Marvin’s promises, and things got even better when he surprised the audience by introducing Beenie Gunter, one of Uganda’s dancehall artists. The crowd exploded as the performer took the stage, turning the political rally into a full-blown concert. Students sang, danced, and waved their phones in the air, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that cemented Marvin’s campaign as the most electrifying of the campaign season.

With polling set for today, April 26, the big question now looms: Will Alinda Marvin’s charisma, bold style, and star-studded finale win over the student electorate, or will the memory of his debate stumble hold him back?
