Nkumba University Sets Date for 26th Graduation Ceremony

Entebbe, Uganda – Nkumba University has announced that its 26th graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, according to a letter released on 18th June 2024 by the Academic Registrar, Dr. Pio Kiyingi.

“This notice serves to remind and clarify that the 26th Graduation Ceremony of Nkumba University will be held on Saturday, 26th October 2026 at Nkumba University Ceremonial Grounds.” reads part of the letter.

The graduation ceremony will see students awarded certificates, diplomas, degrees, master’s, and PhDs in various study disciplines.

 

Clearance for graduation will commence on 31st August 2024 and is set to run until October 12, 2024, while the collection of graduation regalia and invitation cards will will take effect from September 25 and run through October 12, 2024.

 

“The final graduation lists will be generated on October 18, 2024, and will be available on notice boards and our website,” Dr. Kiyingi explained. Adding that, “We will also produce a draft graduation booklet on October 19, 2024, followed by the release of the official graduation booklets the following day.”

 

This year’s commencement lecture is set to take place on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, a day before the graduation ceremony.

 

Dr. Kiyingi emphasized that all graduands should present original certificates to the Admissions Office during clearance for verification.

He also reminded students to pay the graduation fee and alumni fee to the Nkumba University Stanbic Bank earmarked Account number 9030005915995.

Payment for National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) fees should be deposited to Dfcu Bank and Stanbic Bank, except for graduands on National Certificates, Nursing, and Midwifery.
