Paul Put Summons  squad for 2025 Afcon qualifiers

As the Uganda Cranes prepare for the AFCON qualifiers that is going to be played on 9th September 2024 at Namboole staduim.

The head coach Paul Put has summoned his squad that will face South Africa and Congo  in the coming game. Some of these players play for international clubs while others play for home based clubs.

These players that have been listed include the goal keepers Ismail Watenga( Golden Arrows fc) , Charles Lukwago(Venda fc) and Nafian Alionzi( Defence forces fc). Defenders include Elvis Bwomomo( St Mirren fc), James Begisa (URA fc) , Isaac Muleme ( Viktoria Zizkov) , Joseph Ochaya ( Al Mokawloon Al Arab sc), Abdul Aziizi Kayondo ( Fc Slovan Liberec), Bevis Mugabi ( Famagusta Anorthosis fc), Elio Capradossi ( Unattched fc ) , Halid Lwaliwa (Al Ain Sc ), Arnold Odongo (Sc villa) , Timothy Awany ( Fc Ashdod) and Kenneth Semakula ( Club Africaine) . Midfielders Khalid Aucho ( Young Africans) , Bobosi Byaruhanga ( Austin ll fc), Joel Sserunjogi ( KCCA fc), Ronald Ssekiganda ( SC villa) , Travis Mutyaba ( Zamalek Sc ) and Saidi Mayanja ( KCCA fc) and Forwards include Denis Omedi (Kitara fc ), Jude Ssemugabi Kitara fc , Joackiam Ojera ( Al Mokawloon Al Arabs), Rogers Mato ( Fc Brera Strumica), Muhammad Shaban ( Al Hilal Benghazi), Steven Mukwala ( Simba fc), Calvin Kabuye (Sandvikens IF) and Allan Okello ( Vipers Sc).

According to Paul Put, this team will help them in the up coming games that will be played in September, November , October and December.
