Col. Emmy Katabazi, Deputy Director General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO), has challenged student leaders to pursue knowledge daily, warning that a night without learning leaves one “empty”.

Addressing student leaders undergoing a 14-day patriotism training program at Nkumba University, Col. Katabazi emphasized the importance of rejecting politics of deceit, class, and tribalism. “We are all equal, with no distinction in blood groups between Bakiga, Acholi, or any other tribe; instead, we are all Ugandans,” he said.
