Bayern,Inter, Liverpool on winning ways as Atletico and Tottenham hit a dead end

Bayern Munich ,Inter Milan and Liverpool were on winning ways as Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, FC porto, Victoria, Ajax and Marsielle registered defeats in week two of UEFA Champions League group stage games on Tuesday.

The much anticipated encounter was between Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona in group C.

Barcelona traveled to Allianz Arena to face off with Bayern.

The Spanish giants were hoping for a perfect retaliation after losing their last two games against Bayern. However Bayern Munich proved to be too strong for Barcelona with a perfect dwell on ball.

Two second half goals courtesy of Lucas Hernandez in the 50th minute and a Leroy Sane in the 54th minute were enough to guide Bayern Munich to their second win in the group.

In another encounter Inter Milan Claimed a comfortable 2-0 win against Victoria Plzen. A goal from each half from Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries were enough to give Inter their first win in Group C.

In the only game played in Group A , Liverpool registered a 2-1 win against Ajax at Anfield .

Liverpool started the game on a high tempo netting the opener through the Egyptian magician Mohammed Salah in the 17th minute. However few minutes later ,Ajax equalized with Mohammed Kudus stellar strike in the 23rd minute.

Ajax put up a big fight but Matip’s phenomenal 89th minute goal saw Liverpool register a hard earned win.

In the other games Tottenham Hotspur lost to
Sporting CP 2 goals to nil, Atletico Madrid lost to Bayern Leverkusen, Marsielle lost at home to EintrachtFrankfurt one goal to nil ,Leverkusen beat Atletico Madrid 2 goals at the Bay Arena, FCPorto lost to Club Brugge 4-0 .

The champions league resumes today with AC Milan hosting Dinamo Zagreb,
Shaktar Donetsk will lock horns with Celtic,
Rangers faces off with Napoli,
Chelsea will be looking forward to turning around it’s Champion’s league fate as they host FC Salzburg.

In other games, Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig
FC Copenhagen vs Sevilla
Manchester city vs Borrusia Dortmund
Juventus vs Benfica
Maccabi Haifa vs Paris Saint Germain
