Miura started his career at 15 in Shizouka high Gukuen High school in 1982 and later joining Juventus SP from 1982-1986.

In 1986 he started his senior career at Santos in Brazil where he made only two apperances before moving to Palmeras in the same year.

From palmeras, Miura has featured for 13 other clubs across the world including matsubara(1986),CRB(1987),xv de Jau (1987-1988),corritba 1988-1989,returned to santos from 1989-1990, Verdy Kawasaki (1990-1998) ,Genoa (loan) 1994-1995),Dinamo Zagreb (1999-2000),Vessel Kobe (2001-2005) Yokohama FC 2005, Sydney FC (loan, 2005), Suzuka point Getters (loan 2022).

In 2005, Miura signed for Japanese Ligue 1 side Yokohama FC which has from then loaned him to three clubs including Australian side Sydney FC,Suzuka Point Getters and his current club Olivieirense FC a Liga 2 Portuguese club.

In Oliveirense, the forward has only featured in only four games and has not yet scored any single goal.

While many still wonder how a 56 year old still has the ability to play football, the Japanese international seems to have no intent of retiring very soon.

“I feel like I’m 65,When I moved to Brazil at 15, I thought people in their 50s, 60s were granddads. But now that I’m at that age, there’s a part of me refusing to accept that I’m an old man.” Said miura on a press conference on his 56th birthday in February.

In July this year, Miura extended his contract at the Portuguese side for six months.
