Famously known American gospel band Maverick city and legendary pop gospel artist Kirk Franklin are set to make an appearance in Uganda to worship with their Ugandan Christian community.
According to the program released on the website” kingdom world tour”, the crew will be in Uganda on August 16th in an evening of Worship that will take place at Kololo Airstrip starting from 6:00pm.
According to the information released, tickets are 30k ordinary, 80k VIP and 150k for the VVIP package which will include meeting and greeting the artists.
Other African countries they’ll reach to include Malawi,Zimbabwe,Zambia,Kenya and South Africa.
On African soil, the tour will start on August 2nd in Cape Town South Africa and end on 18th August in Mombasa Kenya.
For starters, Maverick city is one of the Gospel bands that have lifted the banner over the past few years.
Their emergency to global game was after recording that album ” old church basement in collaboration with Elevation worship.
The album included songs like Jireh, Wait on the Lord,Mercy, Used to this, Million little miracles, shall not want one which won awards both in the US and globally.
From then they Never backed down went on to record “Kingdom one deluxe” album with Kirk Franklin one which gave birth to the kingdom tours.
Their recent album is the Maverick way recorded last year featuring songs like God’s problems, Broken melodies, Costly,In the Room and many others.
The bands lead singers include Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Joe L Barnes, Aaron Moses , Brandon Lake Maryanne C George and many others.
