The highly anticipated Mr. and Miss University Uganda 2025 edition took place on April 12, 2025, at Theater Labonita, under the theme “Empowering Intellectual Beauty”. Nakande Immaculate and Natnael Mussie were crowned Miss and Mr. University Uganda, respectively, beating 13 others in the inter-university beauty pageantry.

Nakande Immaculate, the new Miss University Uganda, won the coveted title with her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and composure. Natnael Mussie, on the other hand, took home the Mr. University Uganda title, impressing the judges and audience with his remarkable talent and charisma.

In a related development, Nkumba University’s Nahurira Desire captivated the audience with her composure and thoughtful strategy to root for those in need, earning her the Mrs. Humanitarian award. “This was such a good achievement for my University, it’s something that I have always looked out for, helping others without expecting anything in return,” Desire said shortly after being crowned.

Nkumba University’s Moses Kyeyune also made a mark, winning the Mr. Popularity award with 8,680 votes and the Mr. Ambassador position, as Nakande Immaculate returned to claim the Miss Popularity title 2025 after garnering a whopping 12,634 votes via online poll.

The event officials took to social media to thank partners for their support, congratulating the winners and acknowledging the success of the event. “Our Miss and Mr. University Uganda winners were crowned on 12th April 2025! Congratulations to both! Thanks to all who made this event a success,” they posted.

The Mr. and Miss University Uganda pageant is an annual event that brings together students from various universities across the country to compete in intellect, creativity, and composure. This year’s event attracted 13 participants, showcasing the best of Uganda’s university talent.
