“In Uganda, lack of a job can be frustrating. Therefore, when you have one, please perform and add value to your workplace. No salary is small,” he advised.

The man of God cautioned staff members against selfishness, dishonesty, making false promises, pessimism, lack of empathy, and job insecurity, saying these traits can be detrimental to one’s career.

He further encouraged the University staff to prioritize their health, advising that, “eat well, sleep well, and exercise regularly.”

Reverend Father Kiibi also tackled the issue of HIV/AIDS, warning staff about the increasing prevalence of the disease in the country, urging them to avoid behaviors that may expose them to the deadly scourge.

The Reverend Father’s remarks were well-received by the staff, with Dr. Anne Abaho moving a vote of thanks for his inspiring message.

Reverend Father Kiibi was at Nkumba University on the invitation of the Deputy University Secretary in charge of Human Resource, Madam Martha Luyirika.

In a related development, Reverend Father Kiibi paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor’s office, where he was received by the University Secretary, Prof. Francis Kasekende on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, who is away on official duties.

Prof. Kasekende lauded Reverend Father Kiibi for preaching a gospel that transcends religious boundaries, noting that the church’s role in teaching and community service aligns with the university’s mandate.
