The 2024/2025 Pepsi University Football league (UFL) resumed with a 1 all draw between Uganda Christian University (UCU) and St Lawrence University at the UCU grounds in Mukono.
UCU were the ones who found the back of the net first the 30th minute through a well taken free- kick by Abiti Harry.
However, Zirabi Ronnie from St Lawrence surprised the hosts with an equalizer only three minutes later to put the game level.
These two teams continued to create chances to score a winning goal but both failed to break each other’s defence.
This has been the first draw between UCU and St Lawrence university in the league. Both teams have tied with one point in Group C.
The League with continue on Thursday September ,19th with Group B in action between Makerere University and Victoria University at Makerere university play grounds.
