Watoto church one of Uganda’s most prominent Christian ministries is set to celebrate 40 years of existance.
The much anticipated celebrations will happen on the 23rd June at Kololo Independence grounds on an event where the ministry will also launch it’s very first album ” Send us” .
The ministry which is now led by Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo now has fostered life transformation of many people around Uganda and South Sudan.
The ministry does not only cater for spiritual growth but also has fostered community development through taking care of children and also offering help to vulnerable women.
Watoto holds ” watoto villages” where over 5000 children have been taken care of and raised into prominent figures in the society.
For starters Watoto church was founded by pastor Gary Skinner and was formerly known as Kampala Pentecostal church.
The church now has 17 regional locations both in Uganda and Juba south Sudan.
