Uganda Cranes headcoach Paul put has summoned a squad consisting of 27 players that will play against South Sudan in the forthcoming game that will be played at Namboole Staduim on 11th October 2024.
South Sudan last played Uganda Cranes in Kenya at Nyayo Staduim and the cranes were defeated with 1-0.
Uganda Cranes who have dominant trait in the last games which included a win 2-0 against Congo Brazzallive and a draw 2-2 against Bafana Bafana.
Coach Put has made different changes in the squad that played in the last game in Septmber. He included Shafik Kwikiriza who has joined KCCA fc and also Gavin Kizito.
He also added Derrick Nsibambi and Taddeo Lwanga who had spent years without featuring for Uganda Cranes.
Uganda Cranes and South Africa lead Group K with Four points , Congo has three points and South Sudan has one point.
