On Sunday 13th October, The Beach boys will be taking on another unfamiliar opponent in a space of one week after stunning resentless Isbat university at the Beach boys arena last Saturday.
IUIU not a university with much history but atleast one that has afforded put up a competitive display in different Pepsi University football league editions .
Truth be told ,the Beach boys were not at the best in their first encounter with Isbat something that even the Headcoach Sulaiman Bbosa agreed to during the post match interviews.
However individual brilliance came to play Henry Mukasa having the awareness to shoot that ball into the net only goalkeeper to enter with it in goal and Ismael Lubega pulling off his usual trademark freekick which has become his thing having hit it again St Lawrence , And UCU in last year’s finals.
Despite not being at their best, the beach boys had some positives to register from which they can build onto to prevent being circumcised by the Mbale based campus.
Their key players in Kennedy Ssewankambo, Isaac Musuga , Ismael Lubega, Henry Mukasa and others seemed to have kept their class from last editions championship.
Despite playing with what many fans could describe as fatique having travelled back from Nigeria a few days prior to the match, atleast they could pull up the movement, the cordination ,and awareness something they can even better if all it the so called fatigue don’t come into play.
Though not having the best of history the Far Eastern Giants is a team you cannot write off most especially having put up a good performance in the group stages last season.
And falling into this season they stunned Busitema University in their first group game match capitalizing on that Busitema red card to pull from a goal down to win it over a 2-1 deficit.
Being at their own turf in Mbale amidst their fans , IUIU has ability to circumcise the beach boys However the beach boys have also had a good record on the road having not lost any game on the road last season.
