On September 5th Nkumba university was drawn with Defending champions UCU for this year’s pepsi University football league quarter finals.
The two will face off on September 22 for the 1st leg encounter as UCU travels to Entebbe.
Nkumba university finished second in Group B with 12 points whereas UCU finished first in group A with 13 points.
The Beach Boys registered four wins against Muni and Kisubi University in their home and away games narrowly lossing two return legs to Makerere University Business school.
UCU on the other hand won both games against International University of East Africa,one against Victoria University and registered another against Kumi but shared the stalemates on the return leg. The defending champions suffered a humiliating loss to Victoria University in second leg but managed to stay a top of the table.
UCU will be the favorites in this encounter but the beanch boys have always had stellar performance on home grounds.
In the other fixtures St Lawrence University will face off with Kampala University,MUBS against Kyambogo and Uganda Matyrs University will lock horns with Bugema University.
