Bulemeezi take on Buluuli in Masaza cup opener

With only few days left to the 20th edition of the Buganda Masaza cup , fans are anticipating for what would be one of the most entertainment Masaza cup tournaments.

The opening game will be between the defending champions Bulemeezi and Buluuli on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at Kasana staduim in Luweero as communicated by the organizing committee.

Bulemeezi having won the 2023 masaza cup, they  have lost many of their players  to various teams in the  Startimes Uganda premier league and the FUFA big league.

However, they have made new signings fostering in new players and coaches for example Coach Nkata who is now the head coach , something  that has boasted their camp .

Buluuli on the other side  are coming in this game as underdogs, however, they hold a good record when it comes to opening fixtures having registered wins in most of their opening fixtures in the past editions.

Buluuli last won this tournment in 2011 after defeating Bulemeezi in the final at the former Nakivubo staduim.

Both these teams are in the same group Bulange which also  include  Buddu , Kyadondo and Bugerere.
