Manchester has been painted blue after Manchester city has thrashed neighbors Manchester United 6-3 at Etihad stadium today.

Two hatricks from the goal machine Erling Haaland and Phil Foden were enough to grant city the victory. Manchester united pulled back three through Anthony Santos and Substitute Anthony martial who bagged a brace.

On a Derby day  in Manchester second placed Manchester city hosted Manchester united at Etihad .

The citizens started the game on a high intensity and in just eight minutes Manchester united could not contain.

Bernardo Silva laying a beautiful cross only for  Phil Foden to finish giving Manchester city the lead.

Manchester city continued dominating the game getting their second through Erling Haaland who went higher than the United defenders heading beautifully to make it 2-0.

The Norwegian striker then added his second after De Bruyne’s masterclass cross  went through the Shaky United defense only for Erling Haaland to meet scoring the third  in the the 37th minute .

Few minutes later ,the citizens made it four.Haland  setting up Phil Foden for his second goal in the 44th minute . 1-0 at halftime.

In the second stanza Manchester United tried fighting back with new signing Anthony Santos netting a stunner  in 25 yards to give United a glimpse of hope.

However their hopes were burried Haaland responding with a goal completing  a hatrick in the 64th minute .

The Goal machine then set up Phil Foden for the second time   Phil Foden completing his  hatrick too making it six in the 73rd minute.

Manchester united then picked up their second through Substitute Anthony martial making it 6-2.

The Red Devils then netted their third . Anthony martial converting from the spot in the 84th minute.

The city of Manchester was painted blue the citizens proving to be the giants of Manchester.
