Uganda martyrs University will host Bugema University tomorrow in their second leg of the Pepsi University football league quarter finnals.
The first leg encounter saw the two share stalemates with a one all draw.
Going into this encounter, Uganda martyrs University headcoach Kisuze Eric asserts that Bugema is a strong team but he believes they have an advantage.
“They hosted us and we drew, it is not easy getting an away draw, we all know how Bugema can be tactical especially at home given their coach’s prowess on match analysis. Fortunately we did not only draw but were able to get an away goal, this gives us an advantage and we are looking forward to capitalizing on that,” said coach Kisuze.
“This season we have won all our games at home and so we are looking forward to hosting Bugema and finishing the job here. It won’t be easy, in sports anything can happen but we are going to give it our best and I believe we will come out triumphant,” he added
However, Bugema University head coach Nyanzi Medhi is optimistic that his side will win on Nkozi grounds.
“It is an uphill task but we are well prepared and I expect a better display from our boys. We learnt our lessons in the first leg and we have worked on them during training. With a few changes made, I am certain we will return home victors,” noted Nyanzi adding that, “We are going to give Uganda Martyrs hard time, we have been good in away games, we can win this too,” noted Nyanzi
The aggregate winner will progress to the semifinals joining St. Lawrence University who have already booked their place.
In the other games, Nkumba University will make a trip to Uganda Christian University on thursday and MUBS will host Kyambogo University on 11th October next week.
