In a vibrant ceremony held on May 14th, Kisakye Enock was officially installed as the new President of the Rotaract Club of Nkumba University, succeeding Kananura Clinton. The event, attended by numerous guests, Rotaractors, Rotarians, and fellow members, marked a significant milestone in the club’s ongoing mission to drive meaningful change.
District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Joseph Batter Ssengoba, Assistant Governor George Musitwa, and President of the Rotary Club of Entebbe, Rtn Andrew Ochan, officiated the installation ceremony. Ssengoba commended the club for its consistent dedication to the ideals of Rotaract, urging the new leadership to build on the strong foundation laid by their predecessors. “The importance of teamwork, innovation, and impactful service in addressing community needs cannot be overstated,” Ssengoba emphasized.
In his speech, President Kisakye expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve, pledging to lead with integrity, passion, and dedication. “I am deeply honored to be installed as the President of the Rotaract Club of Nkumba University,” he said. “I am humbled by the trust and confidence placed in me.”
Kisakye emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, calling on all members to work together in promoting fellowship and personal growth. “Together, let’s make a positive impact and uphold the values of Rotaract,” he said, outlining his vision to expand community outreach initiatives, enhance leadership development programs, and strengthen partnerships with sponsors and university stakeholders.
The new President also appreciated the support of the club’s sponsors, university administration, and Rotarians, who continue to play a critical role in guiding and sustaining the club’s efforts. “I express my gratitude to our sponsors, Rotarians, and the university administration for their unwavering support,” he said. “Let’s work together to make this year memorable and impactful.”
