Nkumba Law Society launches 19th annual dinner in emphatic style

The Nkumba University Law society has launched the 19th annual dinner with an evening full of fun and entertainment.

The launch which took place at the Nkumba University Law school gardens included a live band, performances from different students within the law school , ice cream , barbecue and corporate dance.

Students from both the law school and different schools in university turned up for  the event.

According Mr Zziwa Bashir, chief organiser of the event, , the event’s main purpose was to curtain raise for the 19th annual dinner.

“We made this launch to sample people about what will happen on the dinner day we had live band , berbecau, ice cream performances from various students from the law faculty.”

“But it was also a marketing strategy to sell out to the students and to implore them to buy more tickets” he said.

While speaking to the law president Gideon Mwanje he implored his fellow law students to attend the much anticipated event

“I urgue all law students to attend this year’s lawyers dinner, it’s one of a kind we shall be at Protea Hotel Entebbe and we are going to have a lot of activities, we are having different artists like Victor Ruz we shall have different comedians like Uncle Mark and many others” he said

This year’s lawyers dinner is themed “Fundamental prequisites a lawyer must posess” mainly focusing on the requirements a lawyer should have or cope up amidst the changing environment and technologies.

The Guest of Honor will be the minister of Justice and Constitutional affairs Hon Norbert Mao.

The President of the Uganda Law Society Benard Oundo will also be among the distinguished guests.
