Mukibi highlighted the importance of partnerships like these drawing insights from his early engagements with Prof.Jude , “Exactly 2 years ago, I called close to 250 people, but very few picked my call and one of them is Professor Jude Lubega here, a simple conversation has now yielded this great project, let’s take good use of it.”

The content digitalization hub will be part of the university’s E-learning tools expected to enhance the delivery of online education.

Joseph Lwevuze, the incharge, E-learning program at Nkumba University expressed gratitude to Mastercard Foundation and Cyber School Technology Solutions for the support.

Lwevuze stated, “Colleagues, this wouldn’t have been possible, but we want to thank both teams from Mastercard Foundation and Cyber School Technology Solutions for this great offer. We are certain this will not only attract more students interested in E-learning but also support our department in implementing E-learning successfully and increasing resilience against hindrances to in-class learning.”

In addition to the TV studio, the donation includes two staffs who will be stationed at the hub for the next four years, courtesy of the Mastercard-Cyber school partnership.

The two will train the hub admins on setting up users and their environments, as well as guiding students on content browsing, assignment submissions, using chat forums, and joining live classes.
