Senior news anchor at the Naguru based NBS TV, Samson kasumba has lashed at his workmate, Shiela Gashumba for what he termed as mocking local content.

The assertive journalist was responding to Shiela Gashumba’s comments after the vocal TV Personality scoffed at rumour pandit Isaac Kawalya, alias Kaiyz For labeling her dress code disgusting while appearing on a local TV show-Nbs after 5 on 26th December 2022.

When asked about a party he attended, Kaiyz revealed that he was unimpressed by workmate, Sheilah Gashumba’s dress code citing a seamless jump suite Shiela doned at the party. Kaiyz believes it may come back to haunt her in the future when she has kids.

In retaliation, Shiela Gashumba had no kind words for Kaiyz as she took to her Twitter handle to justify her dress code and clarify that Kaiyz’s opinion is rooted in ancient upbringing equating it to watching local content noting that his exposure is still wanting. She dubbed him a village vagabond who loves chasing clout.

“Lol I’ve never seen a TV presenter in my whole life who has wanted clout and relevancy like Kaiyz. Stick to attending parties in your neighborhood my dear, clearly you can take someone from the village but you can’t take the village out of someone,” she tweeted.

Adding that, “Kaiyz you grew up watching ‘That’s Life Mwatu’ and ‘Kigenya Agenya’ on a black and white TV. I grew up watching live performances from Rihanah and Beyonce on Disney Channel, E!. I’m here to remind you that we are not on the same level.”

The two nemesis, Kaiyz and Shiela in set

This struck Samson Kasumba to the bone with the star anchor intervening to guide Shiella Gashumba

According to Kasumba, Gashumba should respect local content moreso that she works for a local TV station.
“There was never anything wrong with those plays, Sheila. The moment we rubbish local content when we work for a local TV Station, we make a massive mistake. Art is not easy to produce. Have the fights you want but respect local productions made by some genuinely great artists here,” noted Samson kasumba in a tweet.

Shiela Gashumba has mastered the art of setting the agenda for notable controversies but radically keeping her acts justifiably within her feat and audacity.

A social media influencer who has amassed a whooping following emerging from what many term as scornful behavior but she stands her ground to state her thoughts.
