All roads will lead to Nakawa today as the defending champions She Corporates host their rivals Kampala queens.

The two last faced off in an equally competitive final game of 2021/2022 season which saw she corporates clinching the title.

The game at Nakawa today is expected to be more competitive with Kampala queens heading to the encounter focusing on vengeance for their narrow loss to the Corporates.

The She corporates are eager to prove to their nemesis that they deserved the trophy last season and they are still a better side.

The sharks have been in action more , putting up a good display in the CAF women’s champions league qualifiers only to loose to Tanzanian, giants Simba Queens in the finals.

On the other side the kabojja based Kampala queens claimed victories against last season’s FUFA regional league champions st Noah and she Maroons during the pre season

The queens have also been so busy in the transfer market adding more than eight new players to the palace.

Among the most prominent names are arguably the best Ugandan player and a former lady cardinal Hasifah Nassuna and Tooro’s Simaya Komuntale.

A midfield battle is expected between midfield maestros Phionah Nabbumba and Shamirah Nalugya .

Nabbumba had a good display in the CAF champions league qualifiers registering six goals and five assists in only four games.

On the other hand Shamirah Nalugya too put up a good show in Morocco in the AFCON despite the fact that the Cranes didn’t pass the group stage test.

Going into the game, she Corporates headcoach Hassan Issa claims that they are here to compete for first victory in the season.

We go into Sunday’s game ready to compete and secure our first win of the season. We couldn’t get 3 points against SHE MAK but we have worked on the mistakes in the last days and all we need on Sunday is three points,” said Hassan Issa,

Kampala queens assistant coach Alimiah says that, much as they have respect for the sharks, fear is not their portion.

We respect them (She Corporate) because they are the reigning Champions but we don’t fear them. We shall go all out on Sunday to fight for the three points.”
Said Kato Alimiah Kato.

The much anticipated fixture has been having controversies concerning it’s scheduled playing time with efforts to make adjustments re- schedules done twice before settling for 1:00pm tomorrow.
