The Prime Minister said this while addressing student leaders at the Nkumba-based student leaders’ patriotism training today, 7th January 2024.

The leader of Governmnet business also advised student leaders to set clear goals while tactfully distinguishing between what is important and urgent.

“What you want to do must be very clear and measurable because you will have to monitor and evaluate performance, utilize smartphone apps such as reminders, alarms, and calendars to stay organized.” Adding that, “we are here on earth for a season, a limited time, once you lose it it is gone, there will never be another Tuesday 7th January 2025.”

The Prime Minister outlined 21 principles she says are most paying skills, including the ability to sell and negotiate, convey what you feel, break down a process into smaller steps, ability to adapt and improvise among others.

An alumna of Nkumba University, Rt. Hon Nabbanja reminded reminded student leaders that she was able to master all these while in class at Nkumba University.

The Prime Minister later shared her daily routine with the student leaders, highlighting the importance of discipline and time management. She says, her day starts at 5 am engaging with her constituents, does some exercise, and prepares for the day.

Honourable Robinah Nabbanja is among several distinguished speakers engaging with student leaders from higher institutions of learning at an ongoing 14-day patriotism training program taking place at Nkumba University.

The 14-day training is organised by National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps-Uganda and State House with the goal to instill patriotism and national pride in the next generation of leaders, equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary to drive positive change in their communities.
