Cranes seeking for positive result at Algeria

Uganda cranes  will be hoping for  a positive result in their game against Algeria know as the Desert fox in the 2026 FIFA world cup qualifies that is happening today  10th June,2024 at Mandela stadium.

Uganda has won the past two matches in which include their game opener against Guinea(2-1) following the game that was played on Friday 7th against Botswana which ended(1-0).


This victory gave the cranes six points placing them in a third place in their Group G.The desert Fox who lost there game against Guinea will have to struggle for a win against the cranes.


This will be the15th game against these two teams and the previous 14games ,the desert foxes have emerged 6wins against Uganda.


However, In the world cup qualifying games this will be the first meeting for these two teams . The last games that Uganda cranes has played with the desert foxes including the 2023Afcon qualifies, the desert foxes have won them.


“Of course the rest of the players in camp are in good shape ,besides the captain Khalid Aucho who is suffering with an injury leaving other players with option to play”said the coach Paul Put.


Cranes will go in this game with alot of effort and support from their fans although Algerians are not in good shape after losing their first game against Guinea
