Kawempe Muslim Ladies football club has proven to be a lethal team after thrashing Djibouti’s FAD 10 – 0. in the Cecafa women cup.
Nabirye Shadia scored the first goal in first 11th minute giving the girls the lead against FAD Djibouti before Nandago Hadijah found the back of the net in the 20th and 34th minutes.
In the additional minutes , Shadia Nabirye added one to her tally Kawempe finishing the first half with a 4-0 lead.
In the second half , Hamli Kampi , Rebecca Nakato and Mary Kabacuerzi scored one each while onform Nandago managed to net three goals.
On the day , Nandago finished with five goals proving to be one of the best players in this tournament.
The victory that has been achieved by the kawempe Muslim ladies has granted them a direct ticket to the semi-finals of the Zonal qualifies for the 2025/2025 CAF women’s league.
