Today morning, Nkumba University hosted a team from FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences, Austria to discuss on a possible Academic collaboration .
The visiting team was led by Karen Meixner and Heiga Moser, who are both experts in the field of agriculture at the Austrian based university.
In a meeting with the Vice chancellor of Nkumba university prof Jude Lubega, the visitors expressed interest in learning more about Nkumba University and its agricultural programs and they hoped for a collaboration between the two universities on future projects and share knowledge in the agricultural field.
The visitors also commended Nkumba University for its commitment in agricultural education and research
The collaborative visit between Nkumba University and FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences is expected to foster a relationship between the two universities and facilitate knowledge sharing in the field of agriculture.
FH JOANNEUM is one of the biggest universities in Austria offering education to over 5,000 students . With its three campuses the university has been able to offer prominent education to many prominent personalities in and outside Austria.
FH JOANNEUM offers almost 70 degree programs in a variety of areas including business, technology, design,media, architecture, health and social services.
