Nkumba university’s Footbal team will make a trip to Mukono tomorrow to face off with Uganda Christian University in their second leg quarterfinal encounter of the Pepsi University football league.
The first leg, saw both teams fail to find the back of the net and will be hoping to revise tactics for a better display.
The Beach boys were on a pressing spree troubling the UCU backline but were kept at bay.
Despite being away, UCU played with prowess dominating the midfield through main man, captain Gaganga.
Bbosa’s men have an uphill task facing the defending champions at their turf, However, the team is optimistic they can recover from the lost home advantage.
The Beach boys received a boost following the return of their goal machine Agumemboki Felix and their defending stalwart, Captain Derick.
Head coach, Sulaiman Bbosa believes his side still has a chance to triumph over UCU .”We have done necessary corrections basing on the first leg errors. The return of our captain and Striker Felix is a boost, we are taking the game to UCU, mount pressure on them and score in the first half. That will give us momentum to apply ball management tactics.” Said Bbosa.
Adding that, “A win in our friendly Match with University of Kisubi yesterday is another booster, we are going into the game determined to win”
The aggregate winner in tomorrow’s decisive encounter will join St Lawrence University and Uganda Martyrs’ University who have already booked their place in the Pepsi University Footbal League Semi-finals after eliminating Kampala University and Bugema University respectively.
