Makerere university took the lead in group B with 1-0 win against Victoria university at Makerere play grounds.
Muteganga Frank scored an amazing goal in the 17th minute giving the hosts the complete win in the game.
This was the second game to be played in the Pepsi UFL since it was kicked of on 17th September 2024.
Makerere university who last won this trophy in 2012 having defeated Uganda Christian University in the final are back stronger this season.
Will this season be Makerere’s year since theylast won the trophy in 2012. They have never won it again.
The League will continue on Friday 20th September 2024 with Group A in action Busitema University and Islamic University In Uganda at Busitemi play grounds.
