Acholi qualified on a 4-3 aggregate after registering a 2-1 victory at Akii Bua stadium  in the first leg and drawing 2-2 with Buganda in the return leg yesterday in Luweero.

A 2-1 loss at Akii Bua had left a glimpse of hope in Buganda same hope they came with Vianne Sekajugo opening the scoring in the 11th minute to level it on aggregate.

Having come with an advantage,Acholi was not willing to loose out the oppportunity Denis Ojara levelling matters in the 24th minute.

Just few minutes later Ssekajuggo added the second game on for Buganda.

In the 90th minute,Buganda’s hopes were put to rest Ayella Dominic equalising for the visitors making it 4-3 .

In the other match West Nile proved to be the better team putting 2 past Kampala

Unlike Buganda,Kampala needed an experience in the miraculous to go past West Nile after loosing 4-0 in the first leg at Green light stadium in Arua.

However, Westnile continued to prove that their win in Arua was not a mistake defeating Kampala at their own turf 2-0.

Second half goals from Ahmed Amayo and Ibrahim Dada were enough for Westnile to claim victory.

Westnile and Acholi joined the Tooro and Lango in the semis who earlier eliminated Test and Bugisu regions respectively.
