New Judicial Officials of the Students Guild Sworn in

In a significant milestone for Nkumba University’s student body, a historic swearing-in ceremony unfolded yesterday at the Guild Information Center. The event, scheduled at precisely 2:00 PM, witnessed the official induction of newly appointed judicial officials into their roles.

The ceremony was graced by the key university figures, including the Guild President, Guild Speaker, and the Guild Attorney.

It was presided over by Hon. Kasiita Fred, the Chairperson of the committee and Attorney General, who played a pivotal role in organizing this momentous event.

Hon. Kasiita Fred, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the committee, expressed his confidence in the newly sworn-in officials, emphasizing the importance of their roles in maintaining a fair and just environment within the university. He commended their dedication and urged them to uphold the principles of integrity, impartiality, and diligence as they carried out their duties.

“I urge each one of our officials to uphold the fundamental principles of integrity, impartiality, and diligence as they embark on their duties. These principles are the cornerstone of a robust and just judicial system. With your dedication and adherence to these values, I have no doubt that you will contribute significantly to fostering an environment where justice prevails.” Kasita stated.

In his address, the Guild President, HE. Ignatius Kangave Musaazi, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly sworn-in judicial officials. He emphasized the importance of their duties, urging them to perform their roles diligently and without failure. Furthermore, he reminded them that they are not just individuals but ambassadors of Nkumba University Guild Government.

Their actions and decisions will reflect not only on themselves but also on the university as a whole. His words served as a reminder of the significant responsibility they carry, not just as officials but as representatives of the university’s values and integrity.

“It is crucial to comprehend the weight of the responsibility you carry. You are not merely officials; you are representatives of our university’s values and integrity. Every decision you make, every action you take, reflects not just on yourselves but on the collective identity of Nkumba University student’s Guild. I implore you to uphold the standards of excellence, fairness, and integrity that our university stands for.” Musaazi emphasized.
