Zziwa Bashir, one of the Guild President aspirants has officially picked nomination forms for the upcoming Guild Presidential elections at Nkumba University.
The candidate arrived at the guild offices at around 3:50pm escorted by a team of around 30 students from his camp.
After picking the nomination forms, Zziwa and his team proceeded to meet different students persuading them to vote for him.
Zziwa is among the few candidates who have shown their interest in the Nkumba university guild Presidential seat.
Bashir moves with the mantra ” it’s Now or Never ” believes that this is the right time for Nkumba University to experience a President who will bring fundamental impact positively for the Students Body.
He will go head on head with NRM’s Orisingura Benson and independent candidate Kasimba Noah who have confirmed their interest in the guild presidential seat.
However more contestants are expected to merge out before vetting on Friday 19th.
The elections will take place next week on Saturday where a new leader will be put in power replacing Ignatius Kangave Musaazi.
