According to a letter released on Wednesday evening the elections will take place on Saturday 27th April at main campus and 4th may 2024 at Kampala compass.

“I do write to inform the students body about the forth coming guild elections for the academic year 2024-2025 the voting will happen on Saturday 27th April 2024 for main campus and Kampala campus on Saturday 4th may 2024. I encourage all of you to participate.” the letter stated.

It should be remembered that the guild elections have been moved from the traditional October- November period to April- May starting from the 2024-2025 academic year.

By now only one person in Aloysius Kankaka famously known as ‘mayor’ has Publically declared interest in the guild presidential seat but more candidates are expected to come out as Nkumba hits the road to the 2024-2025 guild presidential elections.

The current guild president is Ignatius Kangave Musaazi who was declared president in an intense race where he beat NRM’s Ruhinda Wilberforce and three others
