Zziwa Bashir, a third year law student is the latest candidate to reveal interest in the guild Presidential seat for the Academic year 2024/2025.
Zziwa, known for his sportsmanship, Resilience and great Leadership skills , has outlined a compelling vision for the university’s future, centered around his slogan ” it’s Now or Never”
In an interview, Zziwa expressed his fervent desire to unite the student community bringing all various Associations on table and empowering them, he believes that the University means more than just attending classes.
“we need to breath life in the Guild and make life at campus more pleasant. I will create a more inclusive and prosperous environment for all Schools in the University.”he said.
He acknowledged the various challenges faced by students, including the tution challenges, failure of Guild Calender activities, and pledged to have solutions to all these grievancies.
Zziwa’s platform focuses on several key areas such as his Successful leadership experience and network from various Universities in Africa and Europe will make him generate a variety of opportunities for the Students in Nkumba University.
The upcoming Nkumba university guild Presidential elections are expected to take place later this month as earlier released by the office of the Dean of students.
